Printable 12-inch Ruler for Actual Size Measurements

If you don’t possess a real ruler but need to make measurements, you can use a standard full-size printable ruler that can measure up to 12 inches (1 foot) or 30 centimeters. There are millimeter (mm) and centimeter (cm) divisions on one side of it while the other side has divisions in inches (in) and its fractions.

You can freely download the image of the ruler and print it on 8.5 X 11-inch paper for your Math assignments, sewing, craft or drawing.  Accuracy of most metric rulers available online is dubious, but we have taken extreme care to make this printable ruler of actual size. If you want a paper scale of half its size, you can print our 6-inch printable ruler.

It is a shame that you purposefully embed ads for PDF programs to download and don’t actually provide a way to download the content stated on the web page. This is very misleading and makes even small school tasks for children difficult.

      Hi,

IF you click on the image, it would download/open the printable PDF in A4 format. Those ads are run automatically we have no control over them.

      We apologize for any inconvenience.

How do we print this ruler? I can see it but I do not know how to print it. Can you explain??

The ruler is out by 7mm. Starts to go wrong at 5 cm until it loses 7mm.

We have re-checked the printable ruler from our end. It is absolutely correct. You are setting your real (physical) ruler from the wrong point. Set the “0” of your physical ruler at the line just before the end of the ruler marked as “inch” or “cm”. You will see that the markings are absolutely correct.
